NOSE: Lashings of heather honey, grape must, treacle, bananas and ginger.

TASTE: Heather honey, toffee, damsons and grape must, fused with orange peel and ginger.

  • The GlenAllachie Wood Finish Series consists of innovative single malt expressions
    which feature distinctive infuence from the wood. Our Master Distiller, Billy Walker,
    works with niche producers from around the world, sourcing small batches of
    outstanding casks that will perfectly complement the GlenAllachie spirit.

    This gorgeous ruby red malt was initially aged for ten years in American Oak Barrels
    before being re-racked into Ruby Port Pipes. The secondary maturation period futher
    develops the depth of favour and complexity, as well as bestowing a vibrant, rich
    colour. Regular monitoring ensures perfect equilibrium between port and malt is
    achieved whilst preserving the distillery characteristics.
